Weekending

Happy Monday!! I hope you had a great weekend! I know we certainly did, and the weather had a lot to do with it!!

I spent all day Friday going thru the kids' closets and drawers and pulling out their winter clothes. I took an inventory of what they need for Spring/Summer (to help when I go shopping). I still need to do my closet (I don't have enough room to keep clothes from all seasons so I have to switch things around with our guest closet upstairs), but I feel good about what I did accomplish. I thought the ecard was funny, hopefully my kids won't freeze! Ha! The weather is just so crazy lately. I mean, it was snowing last Thursday!

We spent Saturday morning stuffing eggs for our upcoming neighborhood egg hunt (more to come on that later). My daughter has always loved to help, but this year my son wanted to join. I honestly thought he was too young to do it, but he sure did prove me wrong!

Then we spent the rest of Saturday outside. The kids played and I kept busy painting a mirror and cleaning up around the outside of the house.

On Sunday, we went to church and then back home to play outside some more. Oh, and we finished a craft that I started last week.

Cuties before church

I'm really hoping to get some good outdoor runs in this week. And while I have been so much better this Winter about sticking to my running, I did find the ecard funny. Sometimes it helps me to put on my running clothes first thing in the morning (and my shoes). It almost holds me accountable b/c who wants to take your running gear OFF w/o actually running first! Try it, it really works! ;)

Today I'm linking up with Biana and Meghan for my first "weekending" post.

Stay tuned this week for a few fun Easter posts.

  5. I do that with my workout clothes, esp on Fridays when I'm off from work! If I go straight from pjs to work out clothes, then it no longer feels optional to work out. (and you're right, I feel like I huge loser if I change out of them without having actually worked out haha) Church pic is adorable, love their outfits!
