Weekend Recap + Recipe

We had a great wknd with warmer weather (finally!!)! The only thing missing was my hubs (boo for having to work!).

Don't forget to scroll to the bottom for a yummy Valentine's dessert!!

I worked on a craft with William Friday morning.

Then we ran to Target. Diet Coke, popcorn, and my little man..all while browsing through Target... pretty perfect morning!

After school on Friday, Cate and I worked on her class valentines.

And we ended the day with a family movie in our bed! (Again, just missing my hubs.)

On Saturday morning the kids worked on their valentines for their grandparents.

How lucky are they to have 6 sets of grandparents/great-grandparents?!?

Then we had a birthday party to go to. But not before lipstick was applied and "kissie selfies" were taken (my daughter's orders). Hello 7 going on 17!!

I guess my son wasn't crazy about me taking his pic at the party! ha!

After the party, I took the kids to a local park close to the house. (We also had Cate's friend spend the night with us.) They were all so tired by the evening. We ate pizza, put on jammies, and settled in for a movie!

On Sunday Cate's friend came home with us from church and the 3 of them played outside for hours. It was an even warmer day and we were all wearing short sleeves! I was LOVING the weather!

While it was a great weekend, I couldn't help but look forward to tonite and the hubs being off. It will also be an exciting week with a date night, Valentine's Day, and my son's birthday.

I'm hoping to make this recipe from Tatertots and Jello this weekend. It looks and sounds absolutely amazing!!
