Valentine's Day Decor (Link Up)

Today I'm linking up with Astleigh and sharing some of my Valentine's Day decor!
Hill Collection
But before I get started, in case you  missed my post from yesterday about Valentine dresses/accessories, be sure to check it out! A pair of the pink earrings I posted are only $10. And currently on sale 25% off with code JUSTFORYOU. They are also available in black and cream, but in my opinion PINK is the best option! :)

Okay time for decor talk! :) We love decorating for the holidays. We pick out a free morning, pull out the appropriate totes, and start decorating. The kids love helping me and we all have so much fun!

In our dining room, I hang hearts from our light and a heart garland on the hutch.

For our entry way table, I usually display a candy bowl and a glass jar with red hearts.

I hang a wreath on our hall closet door.

Our mantel area is always tricky. For every holiday I like to describe it as "business on the top, party on the bottom". ha! I typically pick out most of the decor that goes ON the mantel and my daughter always loves hanging things FROM the mantel. I used my subway art, a LOVE sign, and made a garland out of heart doilies. She wanted to add the red garland to the mantel and hang the heart lights (yes they light up) from the mantel. (Side note: The first holiday that she asked to "help" decorate by adding things to the mantel, I cringed. I did not like the fact that it did not with my "theme". But then I reminded myself that she's only young once. There will come a time when I'll miss the cheesy decorations all over the house, so for now, I just smile and let her do her thing.)

In our guest bath on the main floor I have a small towel, a heart plate, and another heart wreath displayed.

This wreath is extra special b/c my daughter painted all of the hearts when she was very young. After she painted the hearts, I created a wreath out of them. It's one of my favorite decorations.

Randomly throughout the house, you'll find pink and red hearts hanging from different door knobs (courtesy of my daughter).

I love hanging festive towels in the kitchen. My mom just gave me two more matching towels but I didn't have them when I took these pics.

I bought the wood sign for my hubs last year for Vday and it's displayed behind our cook top.

We added two small festive pillows to our love seat.

And my FAVORITE thing to decorate in my house is my bar cart. I absolute LOVE this small area of the house. It brings me such joy. It's hard to see from the pic, but I decorated around the top with a heart garland. I added the XOXO, some festive napkins, straws, and cute little pails.

I keep hot chocolate supplies on the top, and adult beverage supplies on the bottom.

I think that's about all of our decorations. We LOVE celebrating the holidays in our house!
