What's Hap-"Pinning"? Wednesdays (Link Up)

Today I'm joining Jenn and Jessi for a fun new link up they just started, "What's Hap-"Pinning"? Wednesdays".

And while I still feel like I'm trying to play catch up from being gone last week, I was able to throw together a quick post of things that I've been focusing on lately.  I'm sure it's no surprise to everyone that it has to do with a fun little gender reveal party I am trying to plan.

**And just for the record, I apologize in advance for not having the links to any of these images. I never officially "pin" things, I just save images on my home computer for my use only.

I am pretty confident that I can handle the food and decor, but our (the hubs and myself) biggest struggle is trying to decide how to actual "reveal" the genders. I know I want it to include the kids and I want to do two separate ones (one for each baby). But other than that, we still haven't decided how we will do it. I'm definitely very excited about being able to throw this little party though. I really wanted to have one 4 years ago when we found out about my son's gender, but it just didn't work out. This is my chance to finally have one! My only REAL problem will be to keep it simple! The Fall brings lots of birthdays/holidays/expenses so I need to keep the cost down!  Good luck, huh? ;)

  1. EEEEK! Can't wait for the reveal! It took me a long time to actually PIN on Pinterest, too. I saved a lot of images I found on the website back in the day!

  2. I'm super excited for this!!!!
Our friends, who have two boys and were revealing their third, had balloons that they popped with confetti on the inside. So, in your case, each kid could pop a balloon for each baby!
I just saw a reveal on The Farmer's Wife this week that was super cute too! http://denimandplaid.blogspot.com
Cant wait to see what you decide on...and the reveal!!!

  12. I tried six different ways to post anonymously and it wouldn't let me.
If your mother knew what the genders were, then she could help with the food and decorations. Just a thought.
