It's Friday, Y'all!

Thank goodness it's Friday. It's been a tough week, emotionally. It started with my son going to preschool (for the first time) which led me to "ugly cry" the whole way home. Then with the shooting/killing of two of my local news anchor/cameraman and the local schools being placed on lockdown. Add on pregnancy hormones from having TWO babies. This momma is just emotionally drained. But the good news is that we have some family coming to town tonite and our BIG GENDER REVEAL party is FINALLY here! So here goes my 5 on Friday!

~ONE~
I'm always a week behind on pics, but my daughter took this one last Sunday before church. She used to be the "sign holder" when I was pregnant with my son. Now she gets to take the pics while he holds the sign. So sweet.

20 weeks

~TWO~
As I mentioned, my sweet boy started preschool on Tuesday and I was a big ball of nerves. I was so worried about how he'd do that I didn't even consider how hard it would be for me. Oh my heavens, I bawled like a baby all morning. Thank goodness my mom and I ran some errands to help distract me and pass the time or I probably wouldn't have made it. But I'm happy to report that he's done great and loves it. And that makes me very happy!

~THREE~
I started preparing for the party early in the week and decided to snap a few pics. Here are the stickers I made for our guests to wear.

~FOUR~
Thanks to a similar pic that Darci posted on IG, I found my first batch of pumpkin creamer. It was probably the highlight of the beginning of my week!

~FIVE~
And finally, please pray for the families/friends of these victims as well as our town. This has been such a hard hit on our community

I hope you have a great wknd! I'll be back to report about ours on Monday as well as the results of our babies genders! :)

As always, my fun link ups:

  1. I can't wait to hear about the party - it's going to be wonderful!! I had no words for what happened to the news anchor and producer...we live in a very scary world, but thank god for good people who do anything in their power to bring people to justice. Hate to end on a sad note - so I hope you have a great weekend! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

  8. Cory!
    Your pump picture is precious.
Also I didn't know you were a local to our area. Sending you hugs and praying for you. I hate what our area is going through. I personally knew Adam and our family is devasted.
    Sending you virtual hugs!

  9. Hiya! This is my first time visiting and am stopping by from Five on Friday. Love your scripture on the sidebar. A great verse. Your Littles are adorable and congrats on expecting twins! I will be following along. Looking forward to the gender reveal! We have two boys and didn't find out the gender at all either time! :)

  10. Just found your blog! Ah, I can completely sympathise with you with regards to the preschool thing! My son starts this Friday and while I know it will be good for him, I am dreading it, ha! I know I will be a mess when I drop him off. Just when exactly did he grow up??!
