Weekending

Happy Monday, lovelies! I hope you had a great wknd. Ours was pretty low key, but fun. And thankfully the rain stopped on Saturday which allowed us to get outside. Unfortunately I didn't use my phone much for pics (since it was pretty uneventful), so I apologize if you find this post to be boring!

Friday it rained all day, so I took advantage of being inside to clean and do laundry. My kids crack me up b/c whenever I clean the family room, I move their big chairs to the couch. They always seem to still find a way to still sit on them! (My son was in the bathroom when I snapped this pics, but he also jumped up in his chair while I cleaned.

Friday night we invited one of my nieces over for a sleepover. She's older than my kids and just so good with both of them. We ordered pizzas, rented movies from the Redbox, and had a great night. The kids stayed up way too late, but they had so much fun!

On Saturday we took my niece home and ended up heading to the pool for a few hours. It wasn't planned, but we saw some friends there on the way home. Plus we had certainly missed our pool days! That night the kids wanted to sleep together. I absolutely LOVED checking on them before bed. So sweet!
(My daughter wanted to sleep in foam curlers so she could wake up with curly hair.)

Sunday was a very lazy day! We went to church (and I can't believe I forgot to take their picture - especially with my daughter's curly hair) and then home to nap. The kids were exhausted and needed LONG naps. My daughter slept but my son decided to take every toy out of his toy box instead. Needless to say, he had a VERY early bedtime that night. By the time we got up and felt motivated to do anything, it was time for dinner. Then we had a lazy rest of the night waiting for my hubs to get home from work.

So there you have it - nothing exciting - but also nice to just be lazy at home. I hope y'all had a wonderful weekend!

And don't forget my weekend link ups with Biana and Meghan.
