Mother's Day Brunch

As I mentioned earlier, I hosted a Mother's Day Brunch on Saturday for some of the special women in my life; my daughter, my momma, my mother-in-law, and my mother- in-law's mother.  I kept things pretty simple with both store bought and homemade foods. My main focus was to use fancy tea cups and let my daughter pour the tea (b/c she really enjoys that part). Even though traditional tea parties involve hot tea, we chose to serve it cold. Who doesn't love cold sweet tea?!
My daughter helped with the place cards; writing the names on each tag.

And since we were using fancy tea cups, I decided to use the rest of our china as well.

We served fresh fruit, chocolate squares, mini french toast loaves, and sausage pinwheels.

The sausage pinwheels were super easy and super delicious! I was honestly surprised at how good they tasted. (The picture just doesn't do them justice.)

My daughter spent most of her time refilling the tea. AND reminding us to have "pinkie's up". Apparently the tea tastes better when you drink it with your pinkie up! :)

It was such a fun and special morning.
