Can you believe it's already March?!?! I sure hope the snow and cold weather are behind us and we can start pretending it's Spring! :)
We had a wonderful weekend celebrating our little man. He turned 3 a few weeks ago, but we had to wait until this past weekend for the party. He had been talking about his "party at the train station" for
weeks and was beyond excited when the day finally arrived!
The hubs wanted to have the party at the Virginia Museum of Transportation downtown and
they only had an opening for this past wknd And because we were limited
to the number of guests we could invite, we decided to stick with just
family. Due to the time slot they gave us (2-4), I had to cut way back on the amount of food I served b/c it wasn't exactly during a meal time.
We started out in the party room eating food and cupcakes. Then William opened his presents. Once we were finished in the party room, we browsed around inside for a bit before braving the cold temps to see the BIG trains outside.
It was a wonderful day! And we loved celebrating our big THREE year old!
On Sunday we went to church and then relaxed the rest of the day. It was so nice to have the hubs off from work and the ability to soak up some extra family time.
I having some exciting news to share later this week and also a few fun posts! Hope you have a great day!!
Oh my gosh I love this so much- my hubby works for the railroad so if we have a boy one day I can definitely see something like this in our future! Glad the weekend was perfect! xo
