Today I thought I'd share info on how to print your blogs into books (for those of you who haven't heard of it yet).
I started a family blog back in 2009 as a way to document everything for my family. I quickly learned about Blog2Print and was thrilled to have a way to bind my blog entries. Every year on the anniversary of when I started my blog, I order a bound (hard back) book from the previous year. It serves as a fun family scrapbook and a great way to look back at past years. I'm currently working on ordering my 6th book. I love how easy the website makes things. You literally just type in your web address and the dates you want to print. You can also choose whether you want a hard or soft book and which style you'd like.

You can also choose a picture for the front and back covers. I typically try to choose a pic from close to the beginning of the "year" (our year goes from June 1 - May 31) for the front cover. And a pic from the end of the year for the back cover.
You can also choose which way you'd like your pages to print. They can either print a "condensed version" with all of the words together and then the pictures following. This option saves money b/c it prints fewer pages. I chose this way once by accident and didn't care for it. I prefer for it to be printed exactly how it appears on my blog.
And from the time we printed our first book, my daughter has always LOVED looking through them. I'll find her looking through different books during her quiet time. She truly enjoys them and I do too!
I can't wait for our new book to arrive. And be sure to check for online coupon codes before ordering. I almost never pay full price for my books.

Today, I'm linking up with Keri, Jessica, Katie, and many more for Tuesday Talk!
Making a blog book has been on my list, for YEARS! I just haven't taken the time to go back and fix old posts or investigate making my own book. Thanks for the kick in the rear I needed :)!
ReplyDeleteLove the blog book!!!
ReplyDeleteThose books are the best. She picked up the one you did for my birthday when she was here Sunday.
ReplyDeleteMy best friend's sister did this with a blog she had about her son (for the rest of their extended family) and it was super cute!
ReplyDeleteHow great! I've thought about doing this and haven't gotten around to it,but I make a photo book every year, so at least I have something to look at. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh - that is such an amazing idea!!! I have never thought to do that before! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteI really need to do this!
ReplyDeleteI have heard of this before; a long time ago but could not remember where to get your blog into a book! I am so dying to do this! Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI'd heard of doing this before but never this specific site! I really might need to do this! I use snapfish to do one "photo album" per year instead of printing photos and doing albums for our house so this might be the next step!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to know about this. I use Blurb for my blog books, but the formatting takes forever, so I might give this a whirl for next year.
