TGIF!! What a week it's been. Not only did we have Vacation Bible School this week but I also start back to work today. Mix in a ton of nausea and I'll happy to see the weekend arrive! I hope to be lazy tomorrow and then we have church/VBS program on Sunday. So actually I might be happier once next Monday arrives! :)

VBS has been such a blast this week. It's truly one of my favorite times of the year. I have helped lead the preschool music group for about 5 years now. It's literally 3 straight hours of aerobics but I absolutely LOVE it. I was a bit more limited this year b/c of the babes/nausea, but overall it was a great experience. And our church had over 500 kids this week and over 700 total people involved (kids, workers, etc). Such an amazing experience.
But this is how we all looked every afternoon!

Did anyone watch Princess Charlotte's Christening? I was so thankful my mom told me about it so I could watch the highlights after the fact. I loved everything about it!!
I just can't - this picture - too stinkin' cute! Prince William and Prince George! LOVE!

Has anyone else set up the DVR box to record some of the movies on the Hallmark Channel? One of my favorite friends reminds me about this every year and I'm so thankful!

Since it's still so early, I haven't given much thought to our nursery yet. But the closer we are to finding out their genders, the more excited I am to start planning!! However, before the "fun" part begins, we have lots of "work" that needs to be done to even make room for 2 more babes!

Back to work
Back to work
I head back to work today for a shortened (7 hours) day.
I haven't worked since May, as we thought it was best to take off the entire first trimester (personal history, healthy, etc). My job is extremely stressful physically (standing for 10 hours) and also mentally. We just didn't want to add any extra stress to the pregnancy. But the time has come for me to return to the pharmacy. I hope to only work half days for awhile, but I do have some long days in the very near future (while my boss is on vacation). Please pray for me. I'm sure I'll be a nervous wreck in the beginning.
I hope you all have a great wknd. As I mentioned in the beginning of the post, tomorrow will be a lazy day. Then Sunday will be sort of busy with church and the VBS program. But thankfully by Monday the hubs will be off and hopefully we can rest a bit. Not for long though, b/c I'd like to start making some baby progress next week (mainly involving my big kids and rearranging their rooms).
As always, my fun link ups:
haha great minds think alike I totally have prince george on my 5 this week!! I hope you have a restful weekend girl! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteThat nursery!!! Swoon!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope the first day back goes smoothly!!!! Make sure the hubs gives you a foot rub tonight ;)
Have a great weekend!!
Isn't it funny how VBS wears them out?! Make me think how going back to school is always such an adjustment! Nurseries are so fun to plan- can't wait to see yours. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteHallmark movies, even in the heat of summer are just fabulous! Enjoy your weekend my friend
ReplyDeleteStill don't understand how working 7 hours equates to half a day. Hope you can rest some. I really hate those Christmas in July movies because I still remember them from last Christmas and know we'll be watching them again in 6 months. Bah humbug!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great turnout for VBS! What a fun week :) I'll be thinking about you as you start working next week! You can do it!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy a little rest this weekend! You need it after such a busy VBS week!
