Hey Y'all!! I know it's been forever since I have posted anything. To say that life has been busy would be an understatement. I really had no idea how hard it would be to find time to do anything (let alone blog). I do miss blogging (and reading other blogs) and hope to get back to it eventually. I just can't promise it will be anytime soon. Between the 2 older kids (and the things they are involved in), the babies (who will be ONE YEAR OLD in just a few short weeks AND who are MOBILE!!), working part time, and trying to take care of the house, etc, life is just non-stop! But I'm beyond blessed and can't complain.
That being said, I had to pop in to give y'all a quick look at my cute kiddos (b/c who doesn't love kiddos in matching outfits) in their Christmas outfits.
My dear friend, Kirsten, owns 3 Southern Sweeties (an online clothing boutique) and sent us these adorable outfits.
*not sure where Cate's arm went - but it must be tucked b/c she was so cold! haha
The shop offers handmade clothing for children (ages 6 months - 10 years). Most items are made to order
with some pre-orders or ready to ship items. Custom orders also
available! In my situation, I chose the fabric and had an idea of what I wanted for each child. Then she created the beautiful pieces for all 4 of my children. It was like Christmas morning when these beautiful outfits arrived. Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love coordinating outfits for my kids. But I especially love the coordination around the holidays. The best part is that my kids actually loved the outfits too!! The dress is perfect for spinning/twirling (and not too short - per my daughter's request). The pants have an elastic waist (my son refuses to wear anything with a button waistband) and are super comfy. And of course the babies couldn't really say either way, but I think they love their longalls too! ;)
Here are some of the pics we attempted this morning before church. We just received the outfits yesterday so I was very eager to dress them. However, the weather wasn't very cooperative and neither were the babies. (My little Adam is always smiling, not sure what was going on with him.) But we did the best we could!! And I know I'm a bit biased, but I sure think my kids look pretty cute in the outfits!!
Kirsten and I have been friends since
high school and I couldn't be more proud of her and her boutique.
She is incredibly talented and such a pleasure to work with!! I sure
hope you'll check out her designs/sites.
Obligatory picture in front of the tree!
(The babies are usually so happy, I'm just not sure what was going on
this morning. That's the thing with babies - they are unpredictable!)
And b/c I couldn't resist a family pic with everyone dressed and ready!
I miss all of my readers (and fellow bloggers) and sure hope you're doing well! I know I haven't been commenting (or reading for that matter) much, but I love that I still feel connected via social media. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday!!
